I have had a lot of trouble with dentists since moving to the mid-Island, but Downtown Dental has done so much to help resolve my issues. Typically, I am not a fan of dentists – fearful, in fact – but it is always a good experience when I go there. Really happy to finally have a great dentist.”
Great with kids
I was recently in to see Dr. Becir with my two small children. I am a new patient to his downtown office and found his staff to be very kind and accommodating to my ever changing schedule. When Dr. Becir met my kids you could tell right away he was comfortable with children. He spoke to them in a way that made them feel safe and special, and he was really sweet. The staff was also able to polish and clean their teeth (first time for that) and both kids left with a smile on their face! Thank you Dr. Becir for such a wonderful visit. The kids are already asking when they can go back!”

“Bouquets of roses to Dr. Becir, the wonderful dentist who took over from Dr. Odegaard in Courtenay. Dr. Becir fixed my sore tooth gently and expertly. I didn’t feel a thing. His assistant Daphne fully explained everything and genuinely cared about my wellbeing. Dr. Becir and Daphne kept me calm with their much appreciated humour and delightful conversations. The front office staff were pleasant and cheerful. I was very impressed.”
